No worries - things should down - hopefully... :P
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy shit...what a ride!"

Finally had an opportunity to get on the Naimi server and take Archeage for a spin. I ran the story line until I arrived at the big town and talked to the big general. I'm not blown away yet but I might invest a little more time before I come to any conclusions. Who else is playing Archeage?

I hear you- it took me at least 3 sessions to start liking it.

Maybe around level 20+ -once I got the glider did it start clicking :)

Here's another shot of some armor - like the Japanese influence...

Here is a good class comparison page
http://archeage.gamepedia.com/Classes
The roleplay page:
http://archeageroleplay.com/forum_threads/1916348
* a note on this- there are several multi hundred member guilds out there, the Rp gang will tend to defend one server. Still too early to to tell, but it will likely be Tahyang or the new Lucius.
This game runs off crysis engine and is graphics demanding.
It is steampunk meets D&D with guild sandbox.

On Tahyang the hipster RPers are getting ganked by one of the kiddy candy ass guilds and crying about it (e.g., spamming forums) :orc whip:

I don't think they are RPing the crying part...

I'm bringing RP to the server Naima - one mother fucker at a time :P

There's others who feel the same on Naima.

I've been invited to quite a few parties and have RP'd - although I will occasionally yell out, "Those bastards killed Kenny!", when fighting PvP.

I've been having a good time - from PvP to PvE

Bottom line - it's a game and RP is where the heart is... :orc beer:

We had our baby 11/4/14 so I haven't been on. You probably won't see me for a while.
